Plant a Tree: The Gift That Honours
Plant a tree to celebrate a milestone, birthday, or in memory of a loved one, in a way that honours your loved one and creates a greener community.
Get out and explore all that the region has to offer. Recreation in a natural setting has proven physical, mental and spiritual health benefits. For just $80 each year, you can hike or bike nearly 100 kilometres of trail, see rare bird species during the spring and fall migration celebration, and bring your family to dozens of fun events and explore the beautiful and rare natural areas in the Essex Region – as many times as you like!

Give a Heritage Quilt Square

Honour the memory of a loved one or celebrate a special milestone with a tribute bench that overlooks the scenic shorelines, or provides an important resting place along the region’s trail system.
Bench locations are available overlooking the majestic Lake Erie Shoreline at the John R. Park Homestead Conservation Area and along the Greenway system to improve accessibility.
Tribute benches are available for a donation $2,500 and include an engraved plaque for a period of 10 years. A tax receipt is available for this gift of conservation.
For more information about purchasing a bench plaque, please contact Danielle Breault-Stuebing at 519-776-5209 x352 or dstuebing@erca.org
