Essex Region –The Essex Region Conservation Authority (ERCA) will hold its regularly scheduled Board of Directors’ meeting at the Essex County Civic and Education Centre on Thursday, April 9 at 6:00 pm.
Agenda items include:
Proposal for Construction Administration Services related to Hillman Marsh Wetland Restoration and Climate Adaptation Project
Watershed Management Activities Report
Presentations include the Amalgamation of Conservation Authorities and Changes to the CA Act and the Regional Phragmites Management Plan. An Essex Region Source Protection Authority Meeting, which will include the presentation of the Essex Region Source Protection Authority and Risk Management Services Annual Progress Reports, will directly follow the conclusion of the ERCA Board of Directors’ meeting.
The Essex Region Conservation Authority is a public sector organization established by the Province of Ontario and governed by local municipalities. For more than 50 years, it has organized and delivered local watershed management programs and services that further the conservation, restoration, development and management of natural resources in watersheds in Ontario.
