About the event

Early Settler Spring Tonic

During this two hour hands-on program, students will:

  • Get hands-on in the Homestead's kitchen garden - enjoy a 'pick and sniff' tour and help to plant the first crop of spring

  • Learn about the roles and responsibilities of early settler children as you try your hand at various old-fashioned chores

  • Celebrate the spring season with traditional toys and games
