About the event
Early Settler Spring Tonic
During this two hour hands-on program, students will:
Get hands-on in the Homestead's kitchen garden - enjoy a 'pick and sniff' tour and help to plant the first crop of spring
Learn about the roles and responsibilities of early settler children as you try your hand at various old-fashioned chores
Celebrate the spring season with traditional toys and games
