Attention Outdoor Explorers - Homeschool Programs are Back! Our 2024 schedule includes six 2-hour curriculum-connected programs focussing on the natural and cultural heritage of our region.
First Taste of Spring - Maple Syrup Program
During this two hour hands-on program, students will:
Celebrate the first signs of spring with us as we begin the age-old Canadian tradition of maple syrup making!
See the trees tapped and sap being collected in the early settler method
Carry pails of sap using an old-fashioned yoke, try the brace and bit drill and visit the kettle evaporator
