About the event
All are welcome to attend the upcoming fall Detroit River Canadian Cleanup’s Public Advisory Council and Education and Public Involvement work group (DRCC EPI/PAC) meeting, taking place October 1 2026 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at Mackenzie Hall, in Sandwich, Windsor. Supper, refreshments and a dessert are provided to all who attend in person. A hybrid option will be available for those who wish to participate virtually.
This meeting will kick off with a special retirement celebration honoring Peter Berry. While many know him as the Windsor Port Authority's Harbormaster, those who have worked alongside him through the Detroit River Canadian Cleanup partnership know that his impact extends far beyond port operations. Throughout his career, he has been a committed steward of one of our region's most important natural resources, championing efforts that have advanced the remediation, restoration, and long-term health of the Detroit River.
