Spring Tonic Traditions and Celebrations
Service Description
Celebrate spring as you explore the John R. Park Homestead! Participate in traditional Early Settler seasonal ‘Spring’ chores around the farm including: planting in the garden, stuffing the straw tick, scrubbing, and more! Compare the daily life of Early Settler children with your own. In this hands-on experiential program, students will also enjoy a guided hike around the conservation area to look for signs of spring, then, play with the pioneer toys and games. This program celebrates all that the season brings.
